Nurturing Spiritual Growth

Classes

Sunday School Classes

9:00am Sunday mornings

An indispensable part of our church is what we call the Sunday School which is an integral part of our worship. Class members are taught how to live godly and conduct themselves in a manner that is pleasing to God. God promises to bless those who seek to study and understand His Word. We invite you to join us in exploring Scripture and growing in faith together!

Sunday School is actually a school, in the sense that there are teachers who lead the classes and students are categorized according to their age or class levels. All adult classes are open to anyone regardless of age, but the following is given to reflect the average age of those attending each class. Visit as many classes as you like until you find the place where you fit best!

Discovery Classes

5:30 pm Sunday evening | Fall Semester + Spring Semester

An indispensable part of our church is what we call the Sunday School which is an integral part of our worship. Sunday School is actually a school, in the sense that there are teachers who lead the classes and students are categorized according to their age or class levels. Class members are edified, taught how to live godly and conduct themselves in a manner that is pleasing to God. God delights to see that we honor Him devotedly and COMPLETELY on His day, and we should see to it that we do so.

Calvary offers Sunday School classes for every age. All adult classes are open to anyone regardless of age, but the following is given to reflect the average age of those attending each class. Visit as many classes as you like until you find the place where you fit best!

Discovery Classes | Sunday Evening 5:30 pm

Throughout our history, American pastors & churches have played a vital role in the establishment and preservation of religious and civil liberty. Being “salt & light” requires knowledge of the culture we are attempting to preserve and influence as we fulfill the Great Commission and “make disciples of all nations.” Being Biblical Citizens requires a knowledge of Biblical principles and how to apply them to the world around us. You and your church can be the catalyst for restoring Biblical values in your neighborhood, State, and Nation.

Together, we will examine the text’s unique perspective on wisdom, pleasure, and the human condition. We will also uncover insights for living a meaningful life even amidst uncertainty.

We will embark on a journey delving into the very essence of Christian belief, Covering the nature and authority of the Bible, the profound narrative woven within its pages, and the core tenets of Christian living, We will be equipped with a profound understanding of the basics of the Christian faith and how to walk with God individually and in community.

Weekdays

Group Bible Studies

We offer a wide variety of small group bible studies for different groups of people throughout the year.

Life Group | Small Group Bible Study

Weekday small group bible studies or meetings we call “Life Groups” that run during the school year. Most groups meet in homes but we do offer a Wednesday evening small group in the sanctuary at Calvary.

Part of our DNA as a church is to honor God by building healthy relationships around the Word of God. In Acts 2 we see the church devoting themselves to the apostle’s teaching, eating, and praying together. We want to be people who are immersed in the Scriptures, people who are invested in each other, and people who commune with God together.

This is why we have LIFE groups! Joining a LIFE group allows you to be encouraged by community during the highs and lows of life in a broken world. Blessing and encouragement flow from the church when we get serious about delighting in the Word and loving each other. The result of our joy in God is that He gets the glory!

A LIFE group honors God, encourages your heart, and edifies the church.  Join one today!

Missions

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Matthew 28:19-20

Our Ministry

We take the Great Commission seriously and have a desire to see churches planted among the nations. God is at work in His world and we are thankful for the opportunity to partner with Him. We pray that we would be faithful to share the gospel in our own areas of influence while also diligently giving our time, resources, and money to support missions.
