Welcome to Mooreville Methodist Church, the little church on the hill with friendly people and a big heart! Join us for Sunday School at 9:30am and Worship Service at 10:30am as we celebrate Christ.

Meet Our Team:

Pastor

Pastor Kevin Diggs has spent over 10 years in ministry with gifts and graces in leadership development, mentoring, evangelism and discipleship, as well as church growth. He is passionate about connecting with others and building meaningful relationships. He strives to love people like Jesus and make sure they know there is a God who loves them, no matter their past. Upon surrendering to the call into the ministry, Kevin promised the Lord that he would preach God’s Word and shepherd His people.

Prior to surrendering to the call into pastoral ministry, his career was in theatre management and event production and promotion, as well as lighting design. While working at SMU and Dallas Summer Musicals, he learned many important elements of theatre such as relationships, timing and logistics. His background in theater management created lifelong skills that have strengthened his ministry.

He and his wife Aimee are natives of Dallas but have served Methodist congregations in Grandview and Frost and Blooming Grove churches in Navarro County.

Kevin’s wife, Aimee, is a social worker for Falls County and they have one daughter, Gracie, who is a graduate of the Texas Tech Nursing School. During their free time, they enjoy spending time with family, and their two pugs, Lucy and Daisy in addition to antiquing.

Associate Pastor for Family and Youth Ministry

Bobby Fortner is Associate Pastor for family and student ministries. Bobby came to s from Jarrel Methodist Church. He leads our young adult Sunday School class and works with the youth.

Children’s Director

Our children are a focal point of our ministry. We are growing young Christians, who will lead our church in the future. Jennifer works with volunteers to prepare lessons and activities for our Wiggle Worship as well as coordinating the Children’s Message which is a significant part of our weekly worship service.

Choir Director

Logan Moore is a musician from Gulfport, Mississippi. Logan earned a B.M. in Worship Arts at Ouachita Baptist University. He is currently an M.M. Church Music Major at Baylor University. Logan began learning to play the piano when he was in second grade and began playing in the church at around 14 years old. He served as the keyboardist at OBU for the Ouachita Worship Chapel Band. While at Ouachita Logan also served as the Pianist for Parkers Chapel FBC for three years, and was heavily involved in leading and planning worship.

When and where are services?

We offer two ways to experience worship on Sunday mornings: live and online. You can also join us during the week for fellowship on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

9:30 am – Sunday School

10:30 am – Traditional Worship Service

TUESDAY

10:00 am – Women’s Bible Study

6:30 pm – Tuesday Night at the Kissing Tree Bible Study

WEDNESDAY EVENING
